This februari (2024) I've been to Edinburgh for 8 days. I just love the beautiful buildings, it has something magical. I've tried to capture the things that caught my eye in detail, with a focus on light and shadow. I've used colored paper, paintmarkers, fineliners, watercolor and pencil.
In 2019 I traveled through Scotland for two weeks and made drawings along the way. The drawings reflect my view upon my surroundings and the details that caught my eye. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of the current places and freeze it in time. I used different coloured papers for the backgrounds. I made the drawings with paint pens, coloured pencils, watercolours and fineliner.
